Company can be a collection of folks who share little more than the same logo on letterhead and paychecks. They share the same brand, but little else.
Company can be the act of associating with a group of others to share some common experiences or stories or perspectives or goals.
Company can be the unified actions and expressions of caring among those who are committed to fostering a strong and lasting relationship, built around common dreams/pursuits.
The strongest organizations, teams, and families manage to fold those three versions of company into one.
Company can mean so much, or so little.
Whatever the case, we are known by the company we keep.
We get to choose.
