Effort

Iwe want effort, we must:

Effort.

provide resources to facilitate it.
praise the effort, not the outcomes.
invest in others.
offer autonomy.
expect it.
shine the spotlight on it.
relinquish the “controls.”
display it.
ask for it.
cheer it on.
create conditions in which it will prosper.
incentivize it with our attention (not $$).

Effort.

  1. This is so timely. The opposite of these behaviors fosters complacency.

  2. Ah, yes, RVR: COMPLACENCY. I tend to put that one in the "disease" category.
